SOCKTOBER FUNDRAISER
CRAZY SOCK DAY
On Monday, the 24th of October our students wore their brightest, most colourful socks in a multitude of creative ways to raise funds for Socktober - Catholic Missions. We raised $77, and putting these funds together with previous SRC fundraising initiatives, we have managed to raise a total of $117 which will purchase a goat for the Deberety farm in Ethiopia. These animals provide vital nutrition to infants affected by the famine and drought. Thank you to all our families and students who supported this mission.
SOCKTOBER - SOCCER BALLS
Socktober cultivates the passion of students to rise up, engage their local community and take action against poverty through the world game of soccer. In keeping with this, the students brought old clothes and socks from home and they made soccer balls by tying and wrapping them together. They had a great time practising their kicks and goals using their new creations.
REMEMBRANCE DAY
Remembrance Day is on Friday, 11th November and we have received some poppy badges, pins and other items to help raise funds for the Remembrance Day appeal. They are available to buy from the school office if you are interested.
Your contribution to the Poppy Appeal changes the lives of our veterans and their families when they need it the most.
TEA TOWEL KEEPSAKES FUNDRAISER
All students and staff have participated in a unique fundraiser by drawing mini-versions of themselves. All these drawings were put together to be printed on tea towels that will be available to buy very soon. These gorgeous Keepsake Tea Towels have arrived and are ready for purchase.
Many in our school community continue to face financial challenges from the effects of of the pandemic.
We are committed to supporting families experiencing financial challenges through our School Fee Concession programs, and encourage any parent/carer/guardian experiencing difficulties to contact us regarding fee assistance.
