Tuesday, 16th November - 9:00 - 12:00

We are excited to welcome our new students to St. Mary's.
If you would like to enrol your child at St. Mary's, information packages are available at the school office and we would be happy to organise a tour of our beautiful school.
On Wednesday, students watched a slideshow presentation about the history of the Melbourne Cup.They learnt about the traditions of the Cup and looked at ‘Fashions on the Field.’ Using materials found in the classroom they created hats, ties and shoes that they would wear to the Melbourne Cup. The pictures displays their creativity. Well done, Foundation and Grade One.
Screen time habits for good eye health.
Children and teens are spending an increasing amount of time on digital devices for both learning and leisure. Lockdowns, remote learning, and online learning have resulted in a surge of young people complaining about sore eyes, blurred vision, headaches, red eyes or general eye fatigue.
A Prayer for Teachers
Dear God,
Grant our teachers an abundance of Your wisdom.
Prepare their hearts to welcome and love our loved ones, and may we make sure to show them love and respect in return.
Give them grace as they help students who aren’t thriving, courage to say what needs to be said, tools and knowledge on how and when to speak love, and strength when they feel weak. When they feel unseen, remind them that no moment goes unnoticed.
They are shaping the future in one million; small - yet incredibly important - ways every day.We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the gift of learning they share with our children.
Bless them, Lord, and may they see even just a glimpse of how their faithfulness will forever impact generations to come.
Amen.
