- COMMUNITY NEWS
Dear Parents,
It has been an excellent start to Term Four with the children settling back into the classroom routines and connecting with peers.
Thank you for the way in which you all have embraced the staggered start and the resilience shown by our school community.
On Tuesday, we conducted our Parent/ Teacher phone conferences, and the response was highly positive. The meetings provided an opportunity to discuss the successes and challenges that the past terms have presented for our students and families.
If you require further discussion with the teaching staff, please contact the school.
Enjoy your weekend and stay safe.
Maria

Our middle classroom (Grades 2/3) have had a busy week, they've been learning to spell rhythmically by sounding out the letters in time to music.
The middle class students are learning about 'Healthy Bodie' and are focusing on the Digestive System this week.
They have also been reading and writing about the picture storybook 'The Wall' which focuses on the necessity of looking at the wonders of the world around us and the need for acceptance and cultural respect.
Foundation Orientation dates for 2022 foundation students are:

Religious Education News
October Month of the Rosary.
Each October we honour Mary, Jesus’ mother by praying the Rosary.
The Rosary reminds us of Mary and the mysteries of Jesus’ life, crucifixion and resurrection. The children have been learning aboutthe Rosary in each class and praying the Hail Mary.
I have included a beautiful youtube clip and the Hail Mary Prayer that you could share as a family.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
