Dear Parents,
It’s hard to believe that Term 1 is finished already, however we have achieved so much in that short time. Our classrooms have been places of active learning and the students have all worked hard to achieve great things. Our newly structured Specialists Classes have also been hugely successful, with the students thoroughly enjoying participating in weekly Art, Indonesian and PE lessons.
Not only have our classrooms have been a hive of activity, we have also been kept busy with and experienced a number of extracurricular activities throughout Term 1. Some of the highlights for the term have been: The School Swimming Program; The Family Picnic Night; The Grade 6 Equine Learning Program; The Yarram & District Swimming Carnival; Parent/Teacher Interviews; The Talent Show; The St John Ambulance First Aid in Schools Program; The World of Maths Incursion; Our School Open Day; Clean Up Australia Day; The Lucky Jars and Easter Raffle Casual Days; The National Day Against Bullying; The AFL Football Clinic; and Whole School Masses. All these
events at St Mary’s provide your child with an engaging learning experience.
I would like to wish you all a fabulous Easter and hope that you enjoy the holiday period together as a family. I look forward to seeing you all again next term as we work together to ensure your child thrives at St Mary’s.
Kind Regards
Joel
