Dear Parents and Friends of St Mary’s,

We wish Bianca, Lilly and Shekinah all our blessings as they receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday. The Most Reverend Bishop Gregory Bennet will officiate the ceremony along with Fr Antony, and we look forward to sharing this important milestone in their faith journey.

Please remember that school photos will take place this Monday, July 24th. Please ensure all students are in the correct winter uniform.

Lord, Breathe new life into discouraged spirits with your precious Holy Spirit’s comfort. Let each person feel Your presence in amazing ways. Assure them you are walking with them through the fires, through the floods, through the sicknesses, and the unspeakable losses in their lives. Help them to know they are not alone as they grieve their losses, both big and small ones.

Thank you for your patience and gentleness with those whose lives feel overwhelmed and on the brink of despair. Help them to be patient with themselves and to cling tightly to your hand daily. May your promises fill their hearts with hope for the future and peace in their spirits.

Grey long pants, or tunics. Long-sleeved white Polo T-shirt. Blue school jumper. White or grey socks. Black school shoes.

Please do not have long or painted nails.

Refrain from long earrings or visible jewellery.

Hair accessories are to be only white, black or blue.

Religion News: Thursday the 20^th of July 2023

Sacrament of Confirmation

This Sunday the Parish of St. Mary’s will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation.  Bishop Greg will be the celebrant for the Mass with Father Antony.

Lilly Kidd, Shekinah Aliberti, Bianca Barlow, Rubie Watson and Alessandro Giliberto.

I thank the staff and students at St. Mary’s for all the time and energy that goes into the preparation of Sacraments.  I especially thank the children of the Choir and the Altar Servers.  Thank you for supporting your peers.

We pray for all the Candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation and their families.
