SENIOR CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES
MATHLETICS WORLD MATHS DAY: On Wednesday, 5th May the Senior students participated in the World’s Largest Online Maths Competition. During the day students could find a peer somewhere in the world who was ready to pit their mathematical skills against theirs. Students had 60 seconds to complete as many questions as possible from various levels. Speed and accuracy were a focus, however the main aim was having fun.
Although there were a few technical glitches, some students were awarded certificates for their efforts.
Draw Like An Artist, Write Like A Poet.
Students were asked to draw what a "Bad Mad Hair Day" would look like for them.
They were then asked to write a poem about this day, using a DIAMANTE structure.
