FUN FACTS ABOUT GOD’S CREATION
Sharp-smelling garlic and fresh smelling tulips are very different, but they DO share something in common - they both grow underground from something called a bulb. You plant the bulb - you will have a which is shaped kinda like an electric light bulb - and one day you will have a beautiful flower called a tulip or a funny-smelling thing named garlic. The garlic could be called a vegetable OR a herb, and it is used in cooking to add an unusual but delicious flavor to foods. But if you ever plant a light bulb, do NOT expect it to grow into a lamp or a flashlight!
You probably know that a inventor named Thomas Edison came up with the idea for electricity and light bulbs, but did you know that when he was a young boy, his teacher thought he was not clever enough to be in school. In spite of that, he grew up to be a famous inventor. He produced 1,000 inventions, including the way to record voices and music - which led to today's recording of movies, TV shows, tunes on digital devices - and maybe even some e-mail home lessons!
So if you ever think somebody is stupid (as Thomas Edison's teacher teacher did) or think something is ugly (like a stinky garlic bulb), remember that God made every person and every thing for a good reason - and that includes YOU!
