FUN FACTS ABOUT GOD’S CREATION
If you've heard a waterfall splashing or some pebbles crunching under your feet when you walk along a path or the sound of a rock you've skimmed across a pond, you might call that "rock music." That's because those are sounds of the earth, and the earth is actually a really big rock! This rock is about 40,063 km around and weighs more than 6,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000 (6 x 1024) kilograms! Thar's a lot of rock. And it makes a lot of music!
Of course you don't see all the rock that is INSIDE the centre of the earth. You SEE rocky mountains and rocks in a garden - plus the grass and trees and buildings and people that are all on the outside of the earth. And you know God planted some trees and plants and made animals and the people who later built the buildings. So now all of these things make "music" in many ways- with singing, talking, barking, meowing, or roaring voices, plus drums and trumpets and the sound of the ocean lapping on the shore or a breeze moving through a tree. Aren't you glad God made the earth that makes all those special kinds of "rock" music?
